Excitement is ramping up for the upcoming release of EA Sports College Football 26, set to launch on July 10. Following the huge success of last year’s installment—the first in over ten years—fans are eagerly anticipating the next version.

Earlier this week, EA revealed that Ohio State’s Jeremiah Smith and Alabama’s Ryan Williams will be the cover athletes. On Thursday, the first official trailer dropped.

The trailer prominently features the Oregon Ducks, highlighting the electrifying atmosphere at Autzen Stadium—a key element of a new game feature.

According to reports, College Football 26 will place a greater emphasis on crowd energy and home-field advantage. Expect more dramatic camera shakes during high-stress moments for visiting teams, enhanced display visuals, and even clock distortion effects that simulate the pressure of playing on the road.

The game showcases Oregon’s upcoming rivalry clash with Oregon State to demonstrate its new gameplay dynamics. In a high-pressure sequence, Bryce Boettcher is shown rallying the home crowd while quarterback Maalik Murphy struggles to communicate with his receiver amid the noise. Following the snap, Matayo Uiagalelei charges off the edge, delivering a hit on Murphy. The pass wobbles in the air and is picked off by Dillon Thieneman.

A bit of foreshadowing, perhaps? The real-life Ducks and Beavers are set to face off at Autzen Stadium on September 20 during Week 4 of the season. In the meantime, College Football 26 is available for pre-order ahead of its official release on July 10.
