Class of 2027 post player Lisa Sirgi shared on Saturday that she has been offered a scholarship by head coach Dawn Plitzuweit and the University of Minnesota women’s basketball program.

Standing at 6-foot-5, Lisa Sirgi is attracting national attention from top basketball programs across the country. A standout on the U18 Estonia National Team, she plays her high school ball for PHH Prep National in Phoenix and competes on the AAU circuit with Exodus Europe in the Nike EYBL.

Sirgi has already taken visits to elite programs such as Baylor, Texas, TCU, and North Carolina, according to her Instagram. She’s widely regarded as a five-star prospect by BTN Scouting and is considered the No. 1 post player in Arizona prep basketball by Prep Girls Hoops. Originally from Estonia, she’s quickly making her mark in the U.S. basketball scene.

 

 

 

 

Minnesota head coach Dawn Plitzuweit has made early moves in the 2027 recruiting class, already securing a commitment from in-state guard Amisha Ranlall, ranked 27th nationally by 247Sports. While the Gophers face stiff competition in Sirgi’s recruitment, her immense potential makes her a top target and a name to watch closely.
